Texas Rangers Opens Applications For Baseball & Softball Grants In New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana And Oklahoma

ARLINGTON — For the 13th consecutive year, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation are partnering to provide grants for baseball and softball programs across New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

The Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Baseball & Softball Grant Program is designed to grow youth participation in the sports by funding grant proposals for an array of community initiatives focused on improving baseball and softball programming.

Atomic City Road Runners Begins 50th Season April 2

ACRR News:

The Atomic City Road Runners Club (ACRR) will open its 50th pace race season, weather permitting, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at the Canyon Rim Trailhead across from the Los Alamos Co+op Market on East Road (N.M. 502). 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.

Membership applications are available on the Club’s website and also on site at the race. Applications may also be mailed to ACRR at P.O. Box 298, Los Alamos, New Mexico 87544 or brought in person to the first few runs.

Los Alamos High School 2023 graduate Carson Hick has qualified for the NCAA Division 1 National Swim Championships scheduled for March 27-30, 2024 in Indianapolis, Ind.
