Tony Borek Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Tony Borek was the top predictor in the weekly Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) pace race held Tuesday on Rendija Road with a 19 second differential off his predicted time. 

Other accurate predictors were: 

  • Adrian Medin, 12, at 42 seconds off as well as the best finisher in the the 1 mile distance with a time of 7:14;
  • Anders Medin, 13, with a 72 second difference;
  • Jan Velechovsky at 93 seconds off; and 
  • Priscila Rosa with a 97 second differential

Fishing conditions have changed only a little since last week. Streams and rivers continue to run high and above normal.

They are slowly dropping and once they clear it should be prime fishing. Expect a lot of big fish to be caught this season.

Fenton Lake State Park is open for camping. Lake is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Camping by reservation only. It is heavily-stocked with rainbow trout. 2023 Boys Youth Soccer Team Goes Undefeated!

The LAFC Boys U10/9 Pre-competitive soccer team had a phenomenal Spring soccer season in the Santa Fe Northern Soccer League. Every player improved individually and as a team.  The 15 boys making up the team went undefeated winning all 9 of their games.
