Buck Tangled In Hammock Now Spotted On Orange Street

This buck tangled up in a hammock was spotted again Thursday – this time on Orange Street. Game and Fish Department said earlier this week that since the buck is able to eat and drink they will leave it alone and let it shed its antlers in the spring. EMNRD Oil Conservation Division Settles Notice Of Violation

SANTA FE — The Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department’s (EMNRD) Oil Conservation Division (OCD) announced Tuesday that it has settled a notice of violation (NOV) issued to Mewbourne Oil Company.

The stipulated final order also addresses the proposed administrative civil penalties associated with those violations, which were eliminated based on Mewbourne’s efforts to address OCD concerns and the acceptance of an updated Saltwater Waste Disposal (SWD) permit.

JJAB: Donations Provide Winter Clothing For 26 Youth

JJAB News:

Los Alamos JJAB works closely with families in the Los Alamos community to facilitate resources for their needs during difficult times.

As part of this work, JJAB raises money each year from the community to buy winter jackets and boots for youth during the cold season.

This year JJAB raised $2100, which allowed them to provide winter clothes for 26 children and youth.
