Española Christmas came in July for the Española YMCA Teen Center in the form of a $25,000 grant award from the Lineberry Foundation.

LAPS: New Family Orientation Aug. 14

LAPS News:

Anyone new to Los Alamos, or with a student attending one of the Los Alamos Public Schools for the first time, is invited to attend the New Family Orientation noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 in the gymnasium Aspen Elementary School. 

This is an opportunity to learn more about the schools, the community and local organizations and meet school district leaders and community partners.

The orientation includes time for questions.

LANL Donates Working FERMIAC Replica To Bradbury

People can see the original 1947 FERMIAC at the supercomputing exhibit at the Bradbury Science Museum, but it’s safely behind glass.
