Española ― Christmas came in July for the Española YMCA Teen Center in the form of a $25,000 grant award from the Lineberry Foundation.
“The Lineberry Foundation support has been instrumental in helping the Española YMCA Teen Center provide teen programming that helps youth be creative, innovative, and driven to make positive choices for their success,” EYTC Director Ben Sandoval said.

Anyone new to Los Alamos, or with a student attending one of the Los Alamos Public Schools for the first time, is invited to attend the New Family Orientation noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 in the gymnasium Aspen Elementary School.
This is an opportunity to learn more about the schools, the community and local organizations and meet school district leaders and community partners.
The orientation includes time for questions.
Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:30 a.m., ahead of the orientation.
