The letter to THUD requests the inclusion of the bipartisan Senate amendment that provides $50 million for maintenance and safety improvements along the Southwest Chief route in the final THUD Appropriations bill.

An Albuquerque man wanted for a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery has been arrested by the Albuquerque Police Department.
 
Jason Cruz Cordova, 30, was wanted on a federal arrest warrant for the Aug. 16, 2018, robbery of First Convenience Bank, 901 Unser Boulevard SE., Rio Rancho, and the Aug. 20, 2018, attempted robbery of Bank of the West, 780 Juan Tabo Boulevard NE., Albuquerque.

SANTA FE A man convicted of racketeering can be separately prosecuted for murder and other offenses that served as a basis for the racketeering conviction in southern New Mexico, the state Supreme Court has ruled.
