At icountnm.gov, New Mexicans can learn about the importance of the decennial Census and the crucial federal program funds apportioned according to its results, find key dates and documents, and learn how to contribute to local efforts that will ensure all New Mexicans are counted.

FBI: Arson Fires In Naschitti, NM Under Investigation

FBI News:

Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in finding the person or persons responsible for a series of fires that damaged several buildings in Naschitti, N.M., on the Navajo Nation, this week.

There were no injuries.

The fires, which occurred Aug. 19-21, damaged a church, a convenience store and three vacant houses.

The FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety and the San Juan County Fire Department are investigating.

Entrance fees at Bandelier National Monument will be waived Aug. 25 to celebrate the National Park Service’s 103rd birthday!
