There have been no new openings of areas for camping and fishing this past week.
New Mexico State Parks remain open for day use only with some notable exceptions.
Fenton Lake State Park in the Jemez Mountains remains closed. Bluewater Lake State Park near Grants is closed. Overnight camping is still not allowed at any State Park.
Most developed campgrounds on Carson National Forest and Santa Fe National Forest lands have been opened. Most are operating under a first come, first served basis. Group campgrounds remain closed. The Forest Read More

NCRTD To Resume Regular Route And Service Times On Six Routes Including 400 Los Alamos Beginning June 29
NCRTD News:
The North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Bus will resume regular route and scheduled operation on six routes June 29.
The routes had been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The routes include the 255 Mountain Trail, 305 Taos Express, 400 Los Alamos, 280 Eldorado, 260 La Cienega and 310 Red River.

NMDOT: Virtual Car Seat Inspections Available In July

SANTA FE — Car seat inspections are still possible by way of virtual instruction.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation’s Traffic Safety Division and Safer New Mexico Now will host virtual car seat education sessions through Zoom.
The one on one sessions will provide parents and caregivers instruction on the proper selection, installation and use of their car seats from nationally certified child passenger safety technicians.
Beginning in July, the virtual sessions will occur noon to 2 p.m. every first and third Wednesday of the month.
