Mortensen And Katko Receive New Mexico Broadcasters Association 2020 Excellence In Broadcasting Awards

Gene Mortensen and Mike Katko of Los Alamos recently received the New Mexico Broadcasters Association (NMBA) 2020 Excellence in Broadcasting awards for small market radio stations. They won for their coverage on KRSN of the 2020 Semi-Final Boys District Basketball Contest between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers and the Taos Tigers in Taos. ALBUQUERQUE – Federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies last week teamed together in the Shiprock area to conduct a marijuana eradication operation that yielded tremendous results.

The FBI led hundreds of officers in a large-scale, multi-agency law enforcement operation Nov. 9-Nov. 11, that took place at 21 farms and two residences on the Navajo Nation near Shiprock.
