Robert Josh Archuleta Named Head Coach Of LAHS Girls Basketball Program
LAHS SPORTS News:
The Athletic Department has announced that Robert Josh Archuleta has been named Head Coach of the Girls Basketball Program.
Coach Archuleta coached at all levels at Mesa Vista from 2009-2015. He currently works for the Protective Force Training Department as the Senior Instructor. He has worked for the Protective Force for more than 15 years.
Coach Archuleta takes over for Nestor Trujillo who resigned in July following two seasons at the helm of the LAHS girls basketball program.

Lightning Splinters Tree Near LAHS Golf Team
A powerful bolt of lightning splintered a tree Friday at the Los Alamos Golf Course near 16 Los Alamos High School Golf Team members and four coaches.
The strike occurred at around 4 p.m., about 300 feet away from where the team was practicing.
Sam Crooks, 15, described the experience during an interview today with the Los Alamos Daily Post.
