FBI: Albuquerque Man Charged Under Operation Legend

FBI News:

ALBUQUERQUE — Jose Armijo, 36, of Albuquerque made an appearance in Federal Court Thursday facing two counts of robbery by threats and violence.

Armijo remains in custody.

According to a criminal complaint, Dec. 30, 2018, Armijo allegedly entered a retail store with several accomplices and began placing high-value items into backpacks and laundry bags.

As Armijo and his accomplices approached the store exit, Armijo allegedly brandished a firearm to threaten the store manager and security guard and left the store with stolen merchandise.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 67 New Cases, Total Now At 27,579 With 2 New Deaths And 15,412 Patients Recovered

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 67 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County remains at 31 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update also announces 2 new deaths reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:
