Everyone be safe this holiday, especially with the fireworks. We’ve already had one major fire near us this year (Cajete); that’s more than enough! Watch those campfires, too!
As we celebrate Independence Day this week, it’s a time for reflection and thanksgiving. This year, of course, we have a new president—some say for good, some say for ill. It doesn’t take much to decorate for Independence Day. You can decorate with food, flowers, and lawn decorations. Follow these guidelines for a red, white and blue, patriotic celebration.

Letter To The Editor: Without Your Support I Would Have Been Lost
Dear friends of my son John and me,
I wish to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, loving kindness, and support following the passing of my son, John. Without your support I would have been lost.

My sincere gratitude to Los Alamos Sheriff, Marco Lucero; Rio Arriba and Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office; New Mexico Mounted Patrol; and Los Alamos Police Department Read More
