DOE Releases Draft RFP For Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract

CINCINNATI  The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract (LLCC) acquisition.
 
A contract that primarily includes cost-plus-award-fee contract line items for the purpose of continuing the legacy cleanup mission is anticipated. The Draft RFP provides for full and open competition, and the Draft RFP includes requirements for meaningful work to be performed by small business concerns. ESPAÑOLA — The LANL Foundation, through the Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund, is accepting applications for Regional College/Returning Student (RC/RS) Scholarships and Northern New Mexico Tribal Business Scholarships.

Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., will nconvene a roundtable discussion at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, with university and college presidents and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) representatives in Santa Fe to discuss ways to increase job-training opportunities for positions at LANL.
