NJROTC Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Wednesday

Los Alamos High School NJROTC cadets are hosting a fundraiser spaghetti dinner, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Parish Hall at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Tickets are $10 in advance and available from any LAHS Naval Science student. Tickets are $12 at the door.
Dinner includes spaghetti, choice of meat or vegetarian sauce, salad, breadstick, cookie and drink. Carry out is available.

  • 2-3p.m. EST
  • Small businesses will learn about HUBZone contracting vehicles and regulations.

SFCC And AARP Offer Free Income Tax Help

SANTA FE ― Santa Fe Community College, in partnership with the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide, will host free income tax preparation assistance beginning Monday, Jan. 29. The annual free tax preparation service will be available in the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center at SFCC, 6401 Richards Ave.
Beginning Jan. 29, Tax-Aide Santa Fe will be available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays and Tuesdays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Friday, staff from the Los Alamos Public Schools participated in a conference call with Dr. Chad Smeltzer, Sandra Penya and Dr. Michael Landen from the New Mexico Department of Health; copied below is their advisory.
