NMDOT To Present State Rail Plan Update

SANTA FE ― The New Mexico Department of Transportation has initiated an update of the New Mexico State Rail Plan, to be completed in 2018. 
NMDOT Staff are making presentations to introduce the Rail Plan and solicit input from each of the State’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and Regional Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPOs) during their public meetings in the Summer and Fall of 2017.
The schedule for all MPO and RTPO presentations is available on NMDOT’s Transit and Rail web page -  Additional Rail Plan information, including a link to an online public survey, is available on the Transit and Rail page. The online survey, to identify railroad issues important to New Mexicans and for providing input to update the State Rail Plan, will remain available through Sept. 15.
