NMAM Annual Conference In Los Alamos Nov. 15-18

The New Mexico Association of Museums annual conference is taking place Nov. 15-18 in Los Alamos.

This year’s conference theme is “New Mexico Museums: Where Discoveries Happen!” Attendees will explore how the process of discovery is transforming New Mexico museums, science centers and historic sites by igniting curiosity, inspiring creativity, and instilling a spirit of innovation.

One highlight will be a keynote from Superintendent Kris Kirby sharing her perspective on how the NPS is interpreting the newest National Historic Park, the Manhattan Project National Historic Park.

This conference is supported by Los Alamos National Security, LLC, and the Bradbury Science Museum and takes place at various locations in Los Alamos, including the Bradbury, Fuller Lodge, Los Alamos Nature Center, Mesa Public Library and Los Alamos History Museum.
