Marr Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Duane Marr was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race Tuesday on the trails behind the Aquatic Center and on Canyon Road with a 6 second differential from his predicted time.
 
Other accurate predictors were Zach Medin at 8 seconds off, Aurea Rojas with a 17 second difference as well as the first finisher in the 3 mile road run at 25:43, Lindsay Gibson recorded 24 seconds off, and Mark Bjorklund at 29 seconds.
 

 

Levi Gibson, 7, was the best finisher in the 1 mile distance at 8:02 and Roxana Candia was the top female with a time of 8:15.

 
In the 3 mile road race, Jeremy Bremjer was the first male recording a 36:21.
 
On the 3.1 (5K) mile trail run, Travis Gibson was the top finisher at 23:49 and Sanna Sevanto was the first female with a 29:21.
 
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, across from Los Alamos National Laboratory's “S” Site on West Jemez Road (N.M. 501). 1 and 3 mile paved and trail routes will be available.
