Los Alamos JJAB Raises $4,800 For School Supplies

JJAB News:
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and individuals, Los Alamos Juvenile Justice Advisory Board (JJAB) raised $4,800 to provide supplies to students and staff at Los Alamos Public Schools.
JJAB worked with the five elementary, middle and high schools to identify student and staff needs. Items provided for students included backpacks, notebooks, graph paper, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and so much more. In addition, LAPS Counselors and teachers were provided special items such as post it boards, dry erase markers, emergency snacks, educational games for after school programs, earbuds for testing, and sensory gadgets.

The Los Alamos JJAB is a local non-profit focusing on the needs of youth with an emphasis on reducing youth risk behaviors, facilitating positive youth development, and building resiliency.
