Coro De Camara Performs ‘Deck The Hall’ Concerts

Coro de Cámara presents “Deck the Hall”, a merry concert of holiday favorites and offers a free, 30-minute preview performance at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 for Santa’s arrival at the Santa Fe Railyard.

Full concert performances:

  • 7 p.m. Friday, Dec 15 at the United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Road;
  • 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe, 208 Grant Ave.; and
  • 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, 1738 N. Sage St.

The program features choral arrangements of beloved songs of the season, such as “White Christmas”, “The Christmas Song” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, along with fresh, new settings of “Here We Come A-Caroling” and “Deck the Hall”, “Sleigh Ride” and “The Sleigh (Á La Russe)” take the listener on a fun aural ride through the snow, while the Coro women remind us that “We Need a Little Christmas” through their singing of this popular selection from the musical, Mame. 

Concert pianist and Coro accompanist Natasha Stojanovska shares her amazing talents in a solo piano set, with guest appearances by singers Christina Martos and Carlos Archuleta.
