Senior Olympics 2023 Team Tournaments Begin July 28

NMSO News:

The New Mexico Senior Olympics (NMSO) Ernesto Ramos State Games provides senior adults 50+ an opportunity to participate in both individual sports and team sports. NMSO is a sanctioned member state organization with the National Senior Games Association.

New Mexico is considered an “Open” state and allows athletes from outside of New Mexico to compete. Teams play in 5-year age categories starting at 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, and 75+.

The tournament draws teams from Michigan, California, Texas, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.

Registration Opens For 70th Atomic City Invitational

SPORTS News:

Registration for the 70th Atomic City Invitational (ACI) is now open. This is the longest running match play event in the Southwest.

Dates are July 1 through July 4. Go to www.lagolfassociation.org for details and to register. The early bird entry fee is $275 per player and runs through 5 p.m. June 9. After that, the regular entry fee is $325 per player.

LAHS eSports Teams Compete At State Finals

Congratulations to the Los Alamos High School eSports teams who had a great showing at State Finals May 4-5 2023. This is the 4th year that teams from LAHS have competed at the state level.

The Splatoon Team came in first place. Team members are Kaden Coleson, Ben Stringfellow, Miles Iverson, Zane Kretz, Luke Patterson, and Ralston Hoffer.
