SANTA FE — The Public Education Department today announced 30 new positive cases of COVID-19 – 21 staff members and nine students – in the last 24 hours.

New Mexico Public Education Department Supported Workshops Designed To Help Parents

SANTA FE — The Public Education Department urges New Mexico parents to participate in a new series of virtual workshops designed to help them prioritize self-care and support their children in remote learning.

This year’s Prostate Cancer Support Association of New Mexico (PCSANM) free state-wide conference is going virtual.

Titled “Your Path”, the conference is 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14. STEM Pathways For Girls Virtual Conference Nov. 13-15

STEM education has suffered during the pandemic with distance learning.

In response, STEM Santa Fe expanded programming virtually, offering a math festival and five STEM summer camps. They are continuing this effort by launching their annual STEM Pathways for Girls Conference.

This conference kicks off STEM Santa Fe’s monthly program which aims to spark interest in STEM education for girls in 5th-8th grade. With hands-on workshops led by women in STEM, the goal is to keep girls engaged in STEM education while providing a local support system of like-minded peers and role models. Read More
