SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health announced today the updated statewide COVID-19 map for the two-week period beginning today, Dec. 16, with all 33 counties at the Red Level.

Twenty-seven counties, however, improved in at least one of the two health gating criteria metrics, and 23 improved in both metrics, underscoring an improving COVID-19 outlook across the state.

Libraries Provide Activity Bags To Grade School Patrons

Los Alamos County Library System hosted pop-up libraries outside the main building in Los Alamos and the branch in White Rock. Grade school patrons could get a free December activity bag.

Library staff also upgraded temporary library cards and made new library cards.

Los Alamos Hockey Association (LAHA) is happy to inform the community that the ice rink will be open this season solely for the purpose of hockey.
