Bus Stop Closure Notice: Trinity-35th & Trinity-Timber Ridge

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Department announces a temporary Stop Closure Notice for Stop #103 at Trinity Drive and 35th Street as well as Stop #104 at Trinity Drive and Timber Ridge closed during construction.

This closure will affect the Route 1 outbound trips from the Transit Center.

Tickets No Longer Required For Los Alamos Summer In-Person Concert Series Beginning In White Rock July 2!

Summer Concert Series News:

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced Friday that the state will fully re-open Thursday, July 1, which means that the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series will NOT be requiring attendees to have tickets.

More than 400 people had already signed up to attend since last Thursday!

So – everyone is now invited to attend with tickets no longer being necessary. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and drinks and get ready to have a great time rocking out to:

SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials have announced 122 new COVID-19 cases today.

P&Z Recommends OKing Downtown Overlay Retail Zone

In a 5-2 vote, and one abstaining, the Los Alamos County Planning and Zoning Commission agreed to recommend that County Council approve a downtown overlay retail zone.

The commission discussed the proposed new zone during its regular meeting June 9. Commission Chair Terry Priestley and Commissioner Jean Dewart opposed the new zone and Commissioner April Wade abstained. She did not give a reason for abstaining.
