Renew Boot Camp

Instructor Rita Brake offers Renew Fitness Classes or Renew Boot Camp at the First Baptist Church-LA Gymnasium at 2200 Diamond Drive.

Renew Fitness Classes

This class is a boot camp style training that mixes traditional callisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. It also includes various forms of jogging, jumping rope, and interval training that involves bursts of high intensity work. This is a great work out!

These classes are comprehensive fitness programs specially designed by me to help you:

Toppers Win Big at Los Alamos Classic Invitational

Los Alamos High Schools girls took first place Saturday at the Los Alamos Classic Invitational with 164 points..  Hope Christian was second with 148 points.  The Topper boys took first with 171 1/2 points while Hope Christian had 124 1/2 points.

It was a very successful day for the Toppers as several Los Alamos High School students qualified for the state meet.

Sean Readon qualified in the 800 m with a time of 2:01.81. 

Jacob Brown qualified in the Triple Jump with a distance

Derby Dames Jam Their Way Into Los Alamos

What do Thumper, Bampf!, Makeup Artist, Flashover, Lil' Hoawatha, Princess Leia Hurtonya and Strawberry Tuffcake all have in common, besides their intriguing names? They are all part of the new Los Alamos Derby Dames Roller Derby League.

The Derby Dames plan to make high energy women's roller derby a staple of excitement for local fans and participants alike. The Derby Dames invite all women of every skill level from never having skated to seasoned pro jammers to join the league.
