Tickets go on sale today for the Backcountry Film Festival, made possible by the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and the Reel Deal Theater. Produced by the Boise-based nonprofit Winter Wildlands Alliance, the touring Backcountry Film Festival will make its way to more than 100 locations around the world. LAHS Senior Kaitlin Bennett Leads Hilltoppers At Lubbock Swim Invitational

LAHS Senior Kaitlin Bennett takes first in the 50 free and 100 free.

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers Swimming and Diving teams competed Jan. 6-7 at the Lubbock High School Swimming and Diving Invitational at the Pete Ragus Aquatic Center in Lubbock, Texas.  

The invitational was a very competitive high school meet, drawing 500 swimmers and divers from across Texas, with teams from greater Dallas, Midland and El Paso.

The Hilltoppers finished 8th among 20 teams in the girls and 11th among 21 teams in the boys.

Invitation To Join Los Alamos Ski Racing Team

Young skiers, ages 7 to 18 years old, are invited to join the Los Alamos Ski Racing Club. Training is conducted by licensed and trained coaches.

The 10-Day Program is committed to improving the athletes’ skiing while having fun. At the same time, athletes are exposed to competitive Alpine Ski Racing.

Los Alamos Hilltoppers Prevail Over Santa Fe Demons

The big man at 6′ 8″, Cade Gasway goes up for an attempt dunk in the first quarter of Saturday’s game in which the Los Alamos Hilltoppers played host to the Santa Fe Demons in Griffith Gymnasium. The game proved to be very competive in every way, with both teams playing their best.
