Weighlifters Win State Records At LWC Championships

Registration Open At Y For Fall Youth Soccer

YMCA News:
 
Registration is open for the YMCA’s developmental co-ed Little Youth Soccer program. Practices and games are two times per week in Los Alamos or White Rock, Aug. 28 through Oct 4.
 
This program provides and introduction to soccer for girls and boys. Mini-sized balls are used on smaller ball fields to allow players to learn proper dribbling, passing and shooting technique. Focus is on developing coordination and learning the basic rules of the game. The teams are kept small so all get plenty of skills practice and play time.

Annual Los Alamos County Triathlons Return July 28

Back for the 44th year, the Los Alamos County Triathlon is Saturday, July 28, along with the 25th Annual Kids Triathlon and the 2nd Annual Junior Triathlon.
 
The event is known for its high altitude competition, and is held at a starting elevation of 7,400 feet.
