Topper Hockey Team Wins Big On Home Ice

Topper Girls Drop A Game To The Bears

The Topper Girls let out a final ‘Yahoo!’ before their game against the La Cueva Bears in Griffith Gymnasium Saturday night. The Bears are a 5A team and ranked high in the poles so the Toppers had their work cut out for themselves. The Toppers played even with the Bears in the first quarter mainly due to Becca Green’s hot streak of 10 points. For the remaining quarters the Toppers fell behind and as the score widened, the Toppers motivation dwindled and they lost 38-55. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
