Toppers Fade In Fourth Quarter

The Toppers parade onto the court in the Edward Madenia Gym in Espanola to face the Sundevils last Friday night. This was the second meeting for these teams and the Toppers were hoping to reverse the outcome this time but that was not to be, as they lost 63-81. Jared Mang, a former Topper baseball star, has been playing for the University of New Mexico Lobos baseball team for the past four years as starter in the outfield. For the 2019 season, Jared has been named captain of the team. His goal is to lead the team to a Mountain West Title by demonstrating through example. He has great expectations for the team and said he believes the team has the potential to succeed.
