Topper Wrestling Team Wins District
The Topper Wrestling Team proudly displays their first place trophy at the district match Saturday in Griffith Gymnasium. The Toppers finished with 205.5 points ahead of Taos with 176 points. Los Alamos Hilltopper Standouts Jared And Conner Mang Are Now Standouts For UNM Lobos
Jared Mang, a former Topper baseball star, has been playing for the University of New Mexico Lobos baseball team for the past four years as starter in the outfield. For the 2019 season, Jared has been named captain of the team. His goal is to lead the team to a Mountain West Title by demonstrating through example. He has great expectations for the team and said he believes the team has the potential to succeed. In the 2018 season, cut short by an injury, Mang was selected to the All Conference First Team for the MW. He also was named to the pre-season All-Mountain West Team.
