Ray Romero Tapped To Coach LAHS Girls Basketball Team

After a year away from coaching, Ray Romero returns to the hardwood as head coach of the Los Alamos  High School Girls Basketball Team.

Romero served as an assistant coach of the Lady Hilltoppers during the 2018-2019 season under then coach Lanse Carter.

NM Sports Hall Of Fame Induction Banquet Postponed

NMHOF News:

The 2020 New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame celebration weekend, including the annual induction banquet, has been postponed until April 2021, due to the uncertainty surrounding New Mexico’s reopening from COVID-19.

The NMHOF Board of Directors unanimously voted on the move. 

The Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for April 10, 2021 at Twin Warriors Golf Club with the banquet slated for April 11, 2021 at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

New Mexico Activities Association Board Meets Via Zoom

NMAA News:

The New Mexico Activities Association’s Board of Directors met in special session Friday via a Zoom.

Executive Director Sally Marquez presented three discussion items, which included information regarding upcoming rules and officials’ clinics, pre-participation physical evaluations for 2020-2021, and a request from NMPSIA to require a new coaches education course.
