SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Wednesday signed House Bill 11, which ensures that independent health care providers can continue providing the care that New Mexicans need by clarifying statutory language that had inadvertently caused those providers to fear losing their insurance policies.

County DPU: Don’t Fall For Utility Payment Scam

DPU News:

Customers of the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) have reported receiving scam phone calls stating utility payments must be made immediately during the call to avoid disconnection.

While DPU may reach out to customers about past due payments by phone, the department’s representatives will never require that a payment be made over the phone.

In the calls reported to DPU, the callers identified themselves as representing PNM, the Public Service Company of New Mexico. All Los Alamos and White Rock properties with utilities are served by DPU, not PNM.

State Provides Record Utility Bill Assistance To New Mexicans & Reminds Eligible Residents To Apply For Heating Cost Support

SANTA FE – As temperatures continue to drop around New Mexico, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Human Services Department reminds homeowners and renters to apply for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which helps low-income families and individuals pay home heating costs in the winter and necessary cooling costs in the summer.

Under this administration, New Mexico has provided a record amount, $73,927,065 in energy assistance to approximately 200,963 low-income New Mexico households in the last three years.

County: Trinity Village Last Property Without Power
