N.M. 4 Water Transmission Line Repair Postponed

The emergency repair on a water transmission line along N.M. 4 that was supposed to start today has been rescheduled for Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24, due to winter weather conditions.

The broken water line is on the east side of N.M. 4 about halfway between East Jemez Road and the turnoff to N.M. 502.

Officials at the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) would like to remind drivers that when the work begins next Friday, they should expect to see N.M. 4 traffic reduced to one lane in each direction as they approach the work zone. Northbound Read More

SANTA FE — The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) will begin accepting comments today, March 15, 2024, for the Encino Vista Landscape Restoration Project (EVLRP) preliminary environmental assessment.

The Encino Vista Landscape Restoration Project is an approximately 130,305-acre project on the Coyote and Cuba Ranger Districts.
