FBI: Navajo Man Gets Two Years In Prison For Abusing Child

FBI News:

ALBUQUERQUE — Wilson Davis, 25, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was sentenced Feb. 23 in federal court to two years in prison for sexually abusing a child in Indian Country.

Upon completion of his prison sentence, Davis will be subject to five years of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender.

Davis pleaded guilty to the offense Oct. 22, 2020. In his plea agreement, Davis admitted to engaging in sexual activity with the victim, who he knew was a minor. At the time of the abuse, the victim was younger than 16 years old. Davis committed the offense in McKinley Read More

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration’s (DOE/NNSA) efforts to modernize capabilities and facilities at the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12), on Feb. 26, 2021, DOE/NNSA awarded a $57.5 million Phase 1 contract to Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS) for the design and pilot demonstration of highly enriched uranium (HEU) conversion and purification services.

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials today announced 275 additional COVID-19 cases.
Los Alamos County reports no new case today so the total remains at 482 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
