MARGARET ROSE JESSEL June 19, 1946 - May 3, 2013

Margaret Rose Jessel was born in New York June 19, 1946. She was born with brain damage. As a young girl Margaret moved with her family to Miami, Florida.

She moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1995 to live near her sister Francine J. Mendoza, brother-in-law Paul Mendoza and family.

Margaret loved babies and was pro life. She said, "what if my mother would have aborted me?"

Anything from your heart is welcome to celebrate and honor Margaret's life.

Cindy Lou Geoffrion, 57, passed April 29, 2013. She was born February 9, 1956 in Tangier, Indiana.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Ken Geoffrion; mother, Ida Jackson; mother-in-law, Carmen Geoffrion; children, Nate & Deborah Geoffrion, Zac Geoffrion; brothers and sisters, Joseph Jackson and Barbara Angel; John Jackson; Alta Jackson; Jeff Jackson; brothers and sisters-in law, Ron and Sandy Geoffrion; Steve and Roberta Cocking; John and Kathi Parker; grandchildren Rio and Laurel Geoffrion; and many nieces and nephews.

BILLIE CRABB Jan. 10, 1931 - May 3, 2013 

Billie Crabb passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 3, 2013.

Billie had been a resident of Los Alamos for 66 years. She moved from Mineral Wells, Texas to Los Alamos to be with her father who at the time was working building the city.

She met her husband Billy Crabb and they were married in June of 1951. They were very active in church activities and were founding members of the White Rock Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school until her illness made that difficult.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband Billy. Mrs.

JEANETTE "SISSY" TERRY Oct. 6, 1928April 30, 2013

Jeanette “Sissy” Terry peacefully passed away April 30, 2013 at home in the loving arms of her husband of 63 years, B.U. Terry, Jr. 

Jeanette was the mother of Los Alamos Magistrate Court Judge Pat Casados and a frequent visitor to Los Alamos.

She was born October 6, 1928 in Ropesville, Texas. Jeanette was a long-time educator, having taught school in Hobbs, Porter, San Jon, Tucumcari and Eagle Nest, New Mexico. 

She had an entrepreneurial spirit about her, branching out to open her own Real Estate company in Angel Fire, New Mexico.

Martin Gursky Memorial May 26

GURSKY MEMORIAL

There will be a public memorial and celebration of the life and times of Martin L. Gursky at 3 p.m.,  May 26 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, 1738 North Sage St.

Martin passed away earlier this year. The family invites his former colleagues and acquaintances to join his family and friends in remembering and reminiscing his life.

A reception will follow the memorial and the family looks forward to personally thanking the many who sent condolences and well wishes since Martin’s passing.
