ALBUQUERQUE ― Former Los Alamos and Sandia laboratory and Department of Energy workers are invited to upcoming events in Los Alamos and Albuquerque hosted by Nuclear Care Partners.
 
Former workers can find out whether they qualify for benefits through DOE’s EEOICPA as well as meet the local Nuclear Care Partners care team and Co-Founder/CEO Jenna Noem.

University of New Mexico Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. James Paul Holloway and Senior Vice Provost Dr. Barbara Rodríguez traveled to town Thursday to visit UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

NNSA Okays LANL Cell; Telecommunications Upgrades

The Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration’s Los Alamos Field Office has issued a National Environmental Policy Act categorical exclusion (CX) to upgrade Los Alamos National Laboratory’s (LANL) cellular and radio communications capabilities.
 
The purpose of the project is to improve the current cellular and telecommunications network by providing a dedicated LANL cellular service through upgrades to existing infrastructure and the expansion of LANL’s two-way radio system.
