Secret City Kitchen is one of Los Alamos’ secret restaurants and it's located in Building 2 on the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos campus.

High school and college students of Los Alamos consider this one of the best places to go to for lunch, since their location is convenient and their prices are affordable.

Secret City Kitchen opened in September 2015. Jeremy Varela is the owner. Varela was inspired to open Secret City Kitchen after his home deliveries became more popular. His chef is a graduate student at Los Alamos National Laboratory who is from Pakistan. This is the  core inspiration for the menu having an Indian influence. Some items on the menu come with a Pakistani flatbread, which is very popular among their customers.

Varela shared that their most popular item on the menu is the turkey jack, although they have daily specials which are also fairly popular, including their fajita tacos.

Secret City Kitchen will have a food truck at Los Alamos attractions next spring. The restaurant is looking for line cooks and the staff invites people to apply.
