RTD Jicarilla Route Up And Running

The RTD 170 Jicarilla route providing fare-free bus transit service between Dulce, Chama and Farmington, in a partnership arrangement with the Jicarilla Apache Nation, began service Monday, Oct. 2.
 
The route provides service Monday, Wednesday and Friday between Chama and Dulce, and Tuesday and Thursday between Chama, Dulce, Bloomfield and Farmington, NM.
 
Friday, Sept. 29, RTD officials joined Jicarilla Apache Nation leaders in Dulce for an Apache prayer and ribbon cutting to launch the public transit bus route that will stretch 112 miles from Chama to Farmington, NM.
