BUSINESS News:

The Pig + Fig Café will remain open in its regular location in the plaza at 35 Rover Blvd. while the new and improved location at 11 Sherwood Blvd., undergoes renovations.

Pig + Fig Café co-owners Laura and Fernando Crucet signed a lease to move into the building that was formerly home to the Bandelier Grill. They are working with building owner James Chrobocinski and interior designer Suzette Fox to prepare the restaurant for the grand re-opening in late January or early February.

“We’re going to take as much time as we need to make the new space perfect,” Laura Crucet said. “And we will remain open in our current location during that time.”

The bigger space will allow them to double their seating, expand their menu, offer an upscale private dining area, remain open for regular business during special events and wine dinners, expand their beer and wine selection and develop a more diverse and family friendly menu.

“We want to thank the community for your support during this time,” Crucet said.

Holiday Hours and Special Events

The Pig + Fig Café will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day and for regular business New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
