Pandey Preliminary Hearing Continued

on December 8, 2017 - 6:54am

COURT News:

A preliminary hearing in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Sachin Pandey on charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment and attempt to commit sexual assault has been continued to Jan. 5.

Assistant District Attorney said last Friday that he was not prepared and asked for a continuance. Pandey’s attorney Daniel Cron did not object to the continuance but advised the Court of the inconvenience to Pandey’s mother and sister who had traveled from Philadelphia and San Francisco respectively for the hearing.

Judge Pat Casados reminded Pandey, who is free on conditions of release pending trial, that if he intends to leave Los Alamos County for the holidays, he has to notify the Court in writing.

Pandey’s charges are related to a Sept. 24 incident at Camp May.
