Coaching Staff Reports:

In the first game of the Northern New Mexico Soccer Alliance League, the LAFC Dynamos (U11/U12 Boys) recorded a hard-fought 2-0 win in their first game of the season over the Santa Fe Micander. Lukas Ulibarri scored both of the  goals in the second half with fine finishes, the first after some sterling work from Hayden Kim. The Dynamos dominated most of the game, with Aidan Colgan and Munayo Ferreira narrowly missing goals. Brodi Miller and Mikey Bane worked very hard in midfield, and Braydan Allen anchored a solid defense with help from Aram Belian and Tyghe Tripp. Goalkeeper Will Borovina recorded a shut-out.

The LAFC Green U10/9 boys team had a strong showing against the Northern Deutsch/Uhl squad with a winning score of 7-0. Goals were scored by Will Gartz, Angus Smith, Conner Lattimore, and Rylee Gramer. Tyler Regele played strong defense as he was a force to be reckoned with in the backfield. The boys were excited to play their first game of the year and did a good job maintaining their positions, communicating, and aggressively going after the ball.

The Girls LAFC U11/12 team played against the Santa Fe Boys Tercero team. The girls came out strong, ready to play.  On defense, Savannah Sandberg and Annabelle Rossette, did a fantastic job distributing the ball. Jenna Montoya scored LAFC’s only goal on a very nice shot to the upper right corner. Goal keepers, Riley Rheinheimer and Emily Day played very well making several nice saves throughout  the game. The Boys Tercero ended up winning 3-1.

The girls U10/9 LAFC Lasers Green won their first game 7-1 against Santa Fe Peabody/Cohen, while the LAFC Lasers White lost 0-3 to Santa Fe Patnode.
