EDWARD CASADOS Nov. 16, 2017

Edward Casados passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2017 at his home in Los Alamos.

Edward was a loving and devoted husband for 70 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He retired from the Los Alamos Labs after 44 years where he was a chemist. He belonged to the English and Spanish Toastmasters. He had a deep faith in God and his church where he was a lector for many years.

Many knew him from his lifelong love of tennis. His strong love of music was passed down to his children and grandchildren. He was a band member of the Star Dusters and Blue Notes. He belonged to many clubs and organizations over the years including LULAC's and Mensa Society. He had a very quick wit and loved sharing stories. He was opinionated and forgiving. He will be missed but never forgotten and his legacy will live in his children and their families. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Vivan; daughters, Marcia LaMedica (Louis) of New Jersey, Loretta Lujan (Rick) of Colorado; sons, Jeff Casados (Pat) of Los Alamos and Mark Casados (fiancee​ Ruth) of Los Alamos; grandchildren, Louis, Michelle, Julie, Jered, Crystal, Sean, Greg and Andrea and 11 great grandchildren; sisters Celine and Marianne and many nieces and nephews.

Edward was proceeded in death by parents Paul and Lasha Casados. He is proceeded in death by sisters Dolores and Lillian, grand daughter Jessica and daughter-in-law Darla. 

There will be no services at his request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association in Edward's name or a charity of your choice.
