Los Alamos Police Blotter: Oct. 18 to Oct. 24, 2012

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.
Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.
Oct. 18 at 1:04 a.m. / A 31-year-old Fort Hancock, Texas man reported that he was battered in the 2400 block of Trinity Drive.

Oct. 18 at 1:16 a.m. / Police arrested Herman Nanez, 46, of Amarillo, Texas in the 2400 block of Trinity Drive and charged him with battery and for an outstanding warrant.
Oct. 18 at 1:23 p.m. / A 51-year-old El Paso woman reported that she was the victim of larceny in the 100 block of Central Avenue. The estimated loss is less than $250.
Oct. 19 at 3:43 p.m. / A 16-year-old Los Alamos girl reported that she was the victim of larceny at Los Alamos High School. The estimated loss is less than $250.
Oct. 21 at 7:35 p.m. / A 27-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of assault and interference with communications on 34th Street. The matter is under investigation.

Oct. 23 at 1:53 p.m. / Police arrested Fernando Jose Rodriguez, 30, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive on an outstanding Municipal Court warrant.
Oct. 23 at 6:59 p.m. / A 51-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of larceny in the 100 block of East Drive. The estimated loss is more than $2,500.
Oct. 23 at 11:36 p.m. / Police charged William Veenstra-Ott, 30, of Los Alamos with littering on Diamond Drive and issued him a warrant to appear in court.

Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. / Police arrested Joel Grajeda, 43, of Espanola in the 3700 block of Canyon Road and charged him with aggravated DWI and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
Oct. 24 at 10:07 p.m. / A 35-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of larceny in the 100 block of Santolina. The estimated loss is less than $250.
