Los Alamos Nature Center Planetarium Features Phantoms And Exoplanets At Planetarium This Weekend

How do we know there are planets outside our solar system, exoplanets? 
 
At 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26, the Los Alamos Nature Center planetarium is showing Exoplanets, which reveals plants found outside our solar system along with the science behind how we find them and what we know about their composition. The Friday, March 24, show was cancelled. 
 
The nature center is ending March with an exciting astronomy show and film exploring dark matter at 7 p.m., Friday, March 31, with Dr. Galen Gisler.
 
This special show includes a talk by Dr. Galen Gisler and a viewing of Phantom of the Universe, a full-dome planetarium show that showcases an exciting exploration of dark matter, from the Big Bang to its anticipated discovery at the Large Hadron Collider.
