LAHS Graduate Kyle Partin Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant In United States Air Force

Staff Report

Los Alamos High School graduate Kyle Partin has received his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He is the son of Doug and Marcie Partin.

Partin graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas with a degree in mechanical engineering and minors in history, mathematics and military studies. He is assigned to the 47th Flying Training Wing for USAF Pilot Training at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.

Col. Mike Port administered the Oath of Commissioning to Partin. His first salute was given by retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Bret Painter, a former NJROTC instructor for the LAHS.
