USDA Seeks Applications For Investments To Encourage Use Of Bioenergy

WASHINGTON, D.C.  Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett has announced that USDA is accepting applications to encourage the use of renewable biomass as an alternative for fossil fuels to operate eligible biorefineries.
 
Funding is being made available under the Repowering Assistance Program. To be eligible, biorefineries must have been in existence on or before June 18, 2008. This program provides financial incentives to install new systems that use or produce new energy from renewable biomass.

ALBUQUERQUE  Thursday the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) joined New Mexico Donor Services to encourage New Mexicans to become Organ Donors and to celebrate the MVD’s achievements in signing up New Mexicans as Organ Donors.
