The Trouble with ‘Trouble with the Curve’…
Have you ever thrown out a puzzle onto your kitchen table and picked up a few pieces that kindalooked like they’d fit?
You know the predictable pieces – like a romance (Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams), a curmudgeon of an old man (Clint), a star egotistical high school baseball player, a loving standup friend to Clint (John Goodman), an evil computer baseball executive who wants to put Clint out to pasture – all surrounding our beloved game of baseball.

Pajarito Mountain Snowmaking to be Limited
Snowmaking will be limited at Pajarito Mountain this season as last year’s water collection proved lack-luster with disappointing snowfall totals and low water density in the snowpack, said Pajarito Mountain’s Clay Paris.
The new water retention snowmaking pond at the top of the ski hill has been repaired, however, the pond remains at a low water storage level due to the lack of a good spring runoff, Pajarito Mountain General Manager Tom Long said. Jean (Kate Ramsey) attempts to communicate with the deceased Gordon (Eric Bjorklund.) Photo by Bonnie J. Gordon
Review by Bonnie J. Gordon
What does it mean to connect? That’s the question posed by playwright Sarah Ruhl in her offbeat comedy “Dead Man’s Cell Phone.”
Jean (Kate Ramsey) is calmly eating her lobster bisque in a café when she is disturbed by a ringing cell phone. She asks her fellow diner to answer it or turn it off, but he doesn’t respond.
It turns out he has a very good reason for his impolite behavior—he’s dead.
So begins Jean’s odyssey into the life and death of Gordon Gottlieb. Read More
