Alvaro Cardona-Hine is an artist whose creativity spans three disciplines: musical composition, writing (especially poetry) and painting.
In these last two, he is internationally well-known. Now in his seventh decade, Cardona-Hine lives in Truchas, N.M.

LASO Seeks Conductor

The Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra (LASO) is seeking a permanent conductor. LASO is soliciting letters of interest and résumés from interested parties by Jan. 20. Qualified applicants will be called to arrange for an interview sometime in February. Three persons will be selected to audition with the orchestra by conducting one complete concert cycle in the 2014-2015 Season.
